About Alpha Fern Company
On 370+ acres of land, 150+ acres of cultivated crops, and four acres of nursery, the Strickland family owns and operates Alpha Fern Company. Joe Strickland, father, has been working in the foliage industry for nearly half a century. Using plants sourced right from their farm, they offer several greenery products such as wreaths, bouquets, garlands, and more.
Alpha Fern has demonstrated their dedication to environmental stewardship in several ways. The company shares their data with the St. Johns Water Management Conservation Program so that they can keep an eye on the aquifer beneath the Volusia County area. They have started re-growing the oak hammocks that are natural to the state of Florida, in addition to the one hundred acre area of their property that has been left in its natural state. This component offers several environmental benefits, including wildlife habitat.
