Copper Creek Farm, Okaloosa County
Mike and Melody Irwin raise beef cattle through their cow/calf operation, and they also grow corn and hay for grazing and crop production. They use natural waterways throughout their grazing fields and solar wells to water crops. Both rotational grazing and strip-tillage is used to improve soil health and reduce erosion. These practices foster healthy ecosystems, supporting wildlife habitat and protecting our water bodies.
