Treasure Hammock Ranch is owned by Mike Sexton and has been in production since 1941. The ranch has had a conservation plan in place since 1957 and has implemented Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Best Management Practices since its inception.   Examples of these practices include rotational grazing to improve soil health, use of natural wetlands to reduce nutrients from entering waterways and providing wildlife habitat for endangered species. They work closely with local agricultural entities and research scientists to ensure they are maximizing these practices.
